If money was no object, which gen Vette would you buy right now?

Gee. That's a great question. I am afraid that I perceive the mid engine design to kind of walk away from the utility all of the other generations offer. That is the long distance luggage storage ability I am going to be thoroughly testing once again on the trip to Virginia. I am afraid I would need to bring a bit more along than the paltry storage space the C8 offers. Having said that, I would probably want the C7 most. I don't think I've ever really needed the 350 hp or anything near it for the driving I do. 240 hp in my first Corvette was adequate. I know I didn't appreciate the "Dukes of Hazard" racket coming out of the pipes the first time "I gave it the onions". Seems, however, that I am doing that a bit more often than when I first bought the C4. So far I am happy with the C5: I can work on it!
