Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79

If money was no object, which gen Vette would you buy right now, and why?
What would drive your decision most? Looks, performance, resale value, rarity, because it would turn heads at shows, etc?

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.
Well, Actually that is a Dream question. A 73' T top in Ontario Orange is one quest, then a 2013 Grand Sport in white with the blue stripe 60th Anniversary Edition.

Seems like this topic has come up before, but it has been a while. For me, and not necessarily in any order:
- C3 - '70 LT-1 convertible
- C4 - '90 ZR-1 (wish I still owned "The Beast")
- C6 - '09 GT1 Championship Edition coupe in black
All in a new garage...!!!

Only 1 for me....same one it has been since 1969. I would like to own one of the 2 original ZL-1 cars, preferrably John's old one. The yeller one that Roger has isn't the one for me....

Vette(s): 1982 Black exterior with gray interior. I'm not sure what mods have been done prior to me owning. It has a Corvette Clinic spedo and is a bit quicker off the line that what the stock specs say. I have done very little mod myself. Only true dual exhaust.
I would probably buy the one I already have. 2014 Stingray coupe, A6, Z51, Laguna Blue. (I need to get better about taking pics.)

- The re-introduction of the Stingray (I have always been a Stingray fan.)
- Only C7 with the A6. I have seen too many complaints about the A8.
- Last generation of the front engine.
With money being no object, I'd make a few modification to my 14 Stingray
- Upgrade to a 4G TCM (So OnStar will work)
- Add MagRide (I have PPE, just not the MagRide.)
No Holds Barred Crazy Custom:
- Long slender look of the C3
- Wide body similar to C7 ZR1
- 6.2 L supercharged LT5 (755 hp, oh yeah!)
- Still street comfortable
With money no object, I might have an even more crazy track only project too.

Besides my C3, a 1967 427 coupe in Silver Pearl Metallic.

Vette(s): 1978 L48 Auto. Red with Oyster Leather interior. Owned since 1990.
After having a few things done to our 1978 to bring it back to something more like new......
Back in about 2017 we visited the Corvette dealership in Tours, France, (now defunct). Among 50 or so new C7s they had a black Grand Sport, Paddle-shift, yellow hash marks, yellow callipers and yellow stitching on the seats. I don't fully recall the "areo" package, but it wasn't an extreme one, with the wicker-bill rear wing etc, just nice rocker skirts etc. My wife and I decided that it would be "the" car for us, even though it wasn't the convertible that we've always promised ourselves. Back then it was 104,500€ one-the-road. That was too steep for us... But, had we bought that, given how I look after my cars, it would now, here in France, still be worth that same sum!
So that car, or probably a similar C7 GS, in convertible form.....
But, I've also always liked the C4 ZR1, the later 92 onwards examples....
