I promised her she could drive my car this year and next year we'll find her a C5.

She may have a little remorse now, but not too many women don't like shopping!  Especially for a new vette! Here's hoping all goes well for you

Well I now have her mind off of the vette issue for now. (til the guy picks it up in a couple weeks) . And how did I do that.....

I commenced to completely gutting the kitchen down to the studs today. I have always promised her we would do a new kitchen, so now the timing is perfect. The mindset is focused on the house now. Yeah!

The schedule will keep us busy for awhile. Drywall delivery is tomorrow, electrical this weekend, then hang drywall, paint, cabinets come in a couple weeks, install them, trimwork. Roofers should be here in 3-4 weeks, then hopefully have the driveway replaced. That should keep her mind off of the vette issue til May.

I did promise her we would shop for C5 next year. This year I will be heading down to the Daytona area in April to some car auctions. This will also give me a little insite on the vette market down there.

And I figure if I sell the '81 before PF, I'll have to go find a '73 quick, or just have to drive my pickup down. Or maybe someone would be nice enough to "rent" me their vette.

Thanks Mick!

But I don't think you should trust her either with your C5....you might not get it back.

Man I hope you have a comfortable couch!  I'd be bunking down in the living room for a month if I let her Acura RL go!
