my 90 is in the body shop as you all know it got hit. not pressing the guy as he is doing a lot of extras and giving me a good deal.
i always said a man can not have too many corvettes. of course my wife does not agree.
got home from work last nite and got cleaned up to go to the fri cruise nite.go out to my 75 , as the brakes are fixed and finally got my passenger door opened, pop the tops go to start it and just cranks
. closed it up and took my escalade.
went out this morning and pulled out the ignition module and went to autozone and just as i suspected it was bad. bought a new one went home and installed it and started up like a charm.
took the car on a nice long ride and it felt great with the sun beating down on me. loved all the looks and compliments i got on the car.
hopefully tomorrow will be just as nice out.

dang th luck, eh?
That's happened to me a time or two. I've learned to start the dang thing(s) the night before, just to be sure it WILL start. I hate loading the car(s) up, and getting in, just to find one of them won't start for some silly reason.
Glad ya got some sun time in, tho!!

my luck joel---that is the key term.with ignition modules it doesn't matter when you start it--it maybe your last start. i pulled it out of the garage the summer before last, let it warm up a bit, shut it and went inside to get cleaned up and came out about 15 min later and wouldn't start. module went on the last start up. had one sitting here and put that one in. at least now there is a brandie new one so it should last longer.
