Watch and listen as the ZR1 tackles the twists and turns of "the Ring" and sets one of the fastest times ever clocked for a production car.

Vette(s): Gone, but not forgotten: 1974 Coupe Red, matching numbers, Black Interior, L-48 w/ 4 speed; The “Admiral”, also gone and never to be forgotten. 1994 Admiral Blue LT-1 coupe, Black Interior Automatic
I have seen this video . If you get a minute, watch it. It is awsome. Two things are immediately evident. The ZR-1 is one fast car and the Nurburgring is the mother of all road racing circuits. I believe the ZR-1 now holds the production car lap record at the Nurburgring. A ZR-1 is the best performance car bargain on the planet!...but we already knew that....

There is no substitute for low end torque!

That is one great video, thanks Jim.  Thumbs%20Up   It'd be fun to drive our vettes on that course and see how we would do.  Probably take 2-3 times as long as that ZR-1.

Jim Mero actually blipped 178 on the final straight. More amazing is that he  was able to scrub off 120 mph in a few seconds to enter one of the final turns. Thanks for posting this great video.
