Just got off the phone - after reading the conversations posted above, I called GM and ordered a package for my '79. After going thru several messaging cycles, I was connected to a very friendly guy that took my VIN and said the package would arrive "in a few weeks." He also gave me a Reference No., so that if I don't receive the package in a reasonable amount of time, I can call and place a tracer on it. From reading the messages above, I look forward to receiving the information. Thanks for the lead !!

Thanks for the info. Called on mine and the lady told me it would probably be 6-8 weeks. It took 6 days!

Happened apon this post. Said just for the heck I would try calling. It took 4-5 min they said I would receive my package 3-6 weeks. Its kinda strange they must want the info of old chevy's still on the road.

I called on Monday, Mine showed up Yesterday via UPS. Free!
They said it would be about 3 to 4 weeks. Dang quick 3 to 4!
Now, If parts delivery was that quick,......and free.....
