I'd heard about it from somewhere about 2 yrs ago,& thought I'd pass it on again this time.My 1st dealings with them was a pleasant younger sounding "girl",and I got my package in around 1 week for my '77.This time I got a guy who put down the phone & came back in around 6 minutes,and didnt even ask for the VIN.Now its been around 6 weeks-and nothing! |cussing|

Ordered my package for my 74 last week and it arrived yesterday via UPS. Could not put it down. It consisted of 2 books. The one with all of the specification was the most complete I have found to date. Lots of numbers and things an engineer would get excited about. For example it had numbers of revolutions of the rear wheels at 45 mph in one mile. 756 REV/Mile. or the advance curve for the distributor both mechanical and vacuum over the RMP range of the engine. I am sure you could find most of this info in other sources but you are never sure it matches your year plus it is all in the one book. Not a slick covered thing with glossy pictures --- just the facts man, just the facts.

Well worth the phone call. If your restoring a vette make the call. 1-800-222-1020 You will like the price.

Ordered mine today. They were very helpful and it only took a couple of minutes to get through the menus. They said 2-3 weeks for processing. Can't wait to see it.

I ordered the restoration package and received it 3 business days later although the guy told me 2-3 weeks. The information actually is reproduced and mailed to you by a company called MSX International. They must be the data retrieval company that GM uses and passes on the order when you request it through GM. Aside from some useful general knowledge the best thing about it is that it was free except for our Canadian members). |cussing|
