   From the looks of the grille, single headlights and lack of spears on the hood, I'd say the truck is a '56....

   '57 HAS A DIFERENT GRILL AND 2 SPEARS ON THE HOOD SIMILAR TO A 57 PASSENGER CAR (WITHOUT THE CHROME BULLETS) HAD A 57....HATED IT...NOW I AM GOING TO REALLY SHOOT MYSELF IN THE FOOT AND SAY THAT I HAD A 53 F-100...LOVED IT! (327/350)

Sorry Mick , i 'cheded'... the pic i recieved myself by mail....

Don't think it is thaistfull out such mega cups...

But for sure, you are invited next party , why not ?  and with the vette !  have find a 427 69 for sale , perhaps go looking this weekend and (if manual) ask the price......

Norbert, the "Cameo Carrier" was just a fancy Chev. truck. It had a flat sided, full sized bed, rather than the narrow bed with the fenders(Step-Side). The sides of the bed were made out of fiberglass, and made the trucks look much sleeker. Just an appearance upgrade.

I was also at the expo Gent (Belgium), it was a nice corvette show of the Belgian corvette club. I was there on sunday with my son.

Mayby we see us on a meeting this year!
