June 29th, is the date of the 7th Annual Drive Your Corvette To Work
Day, sponsored by Mid America Motorworks. In honor of Drive Your
Corvette To Work Day, enthusiasts across the United States make
"America's Sports Car" their commuter car for the day. Every year, the
Friday closest to June 30, Corvettes official birthday, is chosen to
observe Drive Your Corvette To Work Day.Mid America Motorworks promotes Drive Your Corvette To Work Day among Corvette owners and clubs. The goal is to have as many Corvette owners as possible drive their car to work that day. Vette(s): 1978 white w/blue interior it has 80-82 front & rear clips on it
if it will quit raining here and i can get the water out of the shop, i will roll it out.
i may have to put pontoons on it before this is over.

I've got that insurance also. Maybe I'll just drive it to the office and not do any work. Wish I could fit my golf clubs in it..............

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

I will make sure I add to the Vettes on the road on Friday
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Well, if the rain would let up, I'd consider it. But then, it would only be about twenty feet, out one driveway and in to another to my shop. 
I guess I could let my wife drive it to.....nah.

Oh ya, and to tease them because I'm still on vacation. God I'm gonna hate to go in and look at the schedule, seems they always give me the hard shift after having so much time off

I think if ya check,Drive your Corvette to workday,is considered ,A Corvette event ,therefore you should be covered
