I haven't read this, but this looks like it is quite a comprehensive summary (if something can be somprehensive that is a summary) of Corvette:

Not really all that comprehensive...just a pretty basic outline of the history of each generation. Might possibly be a few stretches of the facts...but what I did read was a decent overview of Corvette. Still, a good read for some basic info/history on our fav-o-rite vehicles!!
I may have to bookmark that one...

you say one out of 600.how or where can i find out more info about my 1969 with a 350ci/350hp car? it has a 350ci/370hp dash plate and a 370hp air cleaner tag,i know this would be easy to stick them on.But the engine stamp matches the car vin and the engine code is V11 05HW. I have checked vin decodes and it is not much help. Is there any info you could share to get me more info on my car?.THANKS DAVE.

To find out more about your car, you could start with your tank sheet (if it's still there and readable).
On this site, there's a VIN decoder (Tools menu) that you can use, but I guess you already did.
Here's what happened to me and my air cleaner tag. I have a 74 big block (which should be 270hp), but the sticker was 360hp.
My question was unanswered for over a year, until I stumbled across some registration papers from the previous owner who also had a big block Chevelle (can't remember the year) that was a 360hp. It was now clear that at one point of time, the covers got swapped!
Here's two engine numbers links for your reading pleasure:
