Chevy just dropped a massive press release officially bringing back the iconic "Heartbeat of America" campaign to kick off the country's upcoming 250th anniversary. They’ve teamed up with The Red Clay Strays to give the classic 80s/90s anthem a modern, soulful rock update. But let’s be honest—the real news for us is how heavily our favorite sports car is featured.

I just watched the new 60-second commercial, and right out of the gate, it opens exactly how it should: with a beautiful C8 Corvette flying down a coastal road. Given the Corvette’s status as America’s premier sports car, it’s only right that it sets the tone for the entire campaign. If you look closely at the rear view in the opening shot, they nailed the details—the custom Maine license plate reads "H34RTBT" (Heartbeat). Talk about a perfect easter egg.

The C8 Grand Sport makes a spectacular return near the end of the commercial, parked right in front of a massive brick wall featuring a sweeping mural of the American flag. It’s an incredibly striking, patriotic visual that perfectly ties the car to the "Heartbeat" theme.

But Chevy didn't stop with the C8. The commercial is a fantastic tribute to the car's heritage. They featured a stunning, silver C2 Corvette Sting Ray coupe getting uncovered on a neighborhood stree.

And they even threw a nod to the next generation of enthusiasts with a little kid’s red C8 ride-in toy car buzzing along a sidewalk.

It’s great to see GM putting the Corvette front and center for a legendary campaign revival like this.

Below is the full 60-second commercial. Let me know what you think of the new look and sound!
