Ya'll can take anything Terry says as BS.
I've seen that particular car in person...not THAT great a car. We sometimes have our local Corvette club meetings at Terry's "Corvette Word", if we can find it. (He moves around a lot.) He does have nice 'Vettes at times, tho, most are WAY overpriced. Personally, I think the guy's a jerk, but that's just my opinion.

The other "Nomads" I've seen were much better cars, and all built on the 53-55 style bodies, like the original one in '54 was.
This one was ok, but not anywhere near a $225,000 car. Someone got their leg pulled!!!

Vette(s): 74 coupe 4 speed 350, 54K actual miles, all original; paint, interior, engine, split bumper. #'s match. 2nd owner, no stress cracks.
A C1 Nomad Corvette always comes to "Hot August Nights" in Reno. NV.  Its the first week in August.  If any of you ever go, you can see the car at  the Peppermill Casino on Virginia Street.  Have never talked to the owner, so can't tell you more.  I think they have about 2000 cars-73 and older, every year at this event.  Really something to see if you get a chance. steves742006-11-23 10:55:20
