Hey everyone, a friend of mine needs to ship her car (not a Corvette) from Philadelphia Area to San Diego. Anyone have experience with a shipping company (good or bad) and can give me some names or places to check out? And approximate cost if you have done this before?
FYI...if it was a Corvette, forget the shipper, I would be driving it out there myself! That is one of my goals when my son gets older...to take him in the '84 Crossfire Cross-country.

thanks for your help!!

I have used Reliable in the past, but only from the south. No complaints, enclosed carrier, made date and time target as promised. Might be too pricey for a cross country jaunt.

Vette(s): 1989 Convert. It's HERE ! ! ! This is my first 'Vette. Most likely my last toy as I am 71 years old.
I used Dependable Auto Shippers to get my car from Va. to Kansas. Rather slow, arguments about who caused the delay, tried to add an extra charge which I refused to pay. Open carrier, because it was a convertible there was an extra charge for top load only. All in all It got here in good shape and only about two weeks late. I would use them again but only after looking for an alternate.
