Popular Science May 2004 issue did a 1/4 track test:
Corvette C-5 Z06 2004
1/4 mile run:
ET 12.53 @ 115.38 MPH
HP: 405 @ 6,000 rpm,400 hp torque, 5.7 liter engine
Curb weight appox 3118 lbs
This might be around what the 2005 C-6 will do(C-6 400hp)
Additional info:
0-30 mph 2.09 sec
0-60 mph 4.58 sec
1/4 mile 12.53 @ 115.38 mph
Remember its about Torque for G force
Z06 & C-6 equal torque 400hp
