Vette(s): 1978 Silver Anniversary L82 4spd (M21) Red Leather. Pace Car is in the hands of a new caretaker.
If you could put a battery disconnect in a newer Vette every time you went to use it it would probably take about 20 minutes to reset the radio, the clock, the memory seats and all that other crap they got nowadays.

There are dis-connects that keep power to the puters/modules, but will not allow much amperage thru. So...if you tried to start it without re-connecting, it would fry the fuse-link. It would also fry the fuse-link if something such as the puter shorted out. This would have saved this C6.
Someting to think aboot....
