know there was another post about this but just have an interesting observation. i think if i ever was lucky enough to be able to go to one and buy something (which i know would be a vette , either a 63-67 or 68 to 77), i would definately go to the one in fla. it seems to me all the cars they auction off there go very cheaply as compared to the  one in arizona. on a couple of them even the announcers were shocked that the selling price was lower than they thought it would sell for. i saw a gorgeous 69 and it only went for about 50k. even on some of the other vettes they seemed to have sold a lot cheaper than one might expect.

I agree. There have been several cars that people purchased in Scotsdale, put them back on the block in the FL auction and lost money. The prices this week seem a little more realistic to me.

Vette(s): 1972 conv., sunfire yellow, blk interior, blk vinyl and convertible top. Off frame restoration with American Speed 383 stroker engine producing 500hp plus a 200hp NOS system. MSD ignition. Hooker super competition headers with chambered exhaust.
Eddie,
Since they will be selling the cream of the crop today, see if your opinion changes after tonight. I agree the corvettes seemed to be reasonably priced yesterday. It made me wish I had restored a camaro. A 68 and 69 sold for around  $100k. I'm looking for a 69 camaro convertible and the cheapest rust bucket i've found was 15k.

just finish watching it.  granted there were a few other no name carsRolling%20On%20The%20Floor%20Laughing that went for big bucks. one of the last cars was a 67 bb corvette. 427/400 and it was gorgeous.  went for under 100k.  i believe a 67 camaro went for around 150k.  still seems prices are a lot cheaper than in scottsdale.
