I'm looking at an 88 vert, 350, rough, needs new top, windshield, motor problem. The owner says car runs well but quits running when he hits his brakes. Vacuum problems maybe??? Any idea's, prices or otherwise, thanks Gene

Sounds like a $5000.00 car to me. And that would be tops.
I see mid 80s cars at the dealer auction routinely go for $6500.00 and they are in average to better shape.
