I found this on strangevehicles.com. It is said to be a custom Chevy on a C6 chassis,Belair styled in front like a '57, side like a '58, and rear like a '58, that is why it is reffered to as "789". Check it out it will freak you out!

Pretty awesome. Course I'd rather have an original 57 or 59, but just imagine, this is basically a new car, so it could be a daily driver.
On the other hand, as a daily driver, you'd never get anywhere quickly, as you'd be stopped constantly with questions. You'd feel like a celebrity.

I've seen this one before...some of it looks really kewl...some just don't look right. Just don't tink the '57 front gels wid the '59 rear...that's just me.

Vette(s): 1969 convertible L71 427/435 4-speed black interior
From the side it looks kinda like a '57 or '58 Studebaker Hawk modified as a convertible.

I like it.... kinda makes it the Chevy version of a mid-50's T-Bird.

Somebody has really put in a lot of thought, effort and money creating that car. Really cool.

I really like that 59 rear.... I also like the way it appears to be hugging the ground and it is a vert. It would definately be a fun car to own.
Oh, and the controversy..... I like it / I hate it ..... that would just never end! It might even be enough to drive a person Nuckin Futz......

It kind of reminds me of that old Johnny Cash song. What was the title?
Where he worked at an Auto Plant, "one piece at a time".
Anyway, looks OK to me. Thanks for the pictures....
