Vette(s): #1 -1969 Corvette Coupe Riverside Gold, black interior,MN,A/C,350/350,PS,PB,window cranks.
#2 -2000 C5, black/black, 6 sp, Bose system & lots of buttons.
I was reading the thread on the C3 4 door for sale, but I couldn't post on that topic because this is not a C3. I received an email from a fellow vette club member where they are actually really thinking of making one. Here's the link:

I dunno...I'm torn. It's weird looking but still has some appeal for those of us who need 4 seats. I googled some of the cars mentioned in the comments below the article. They're all "milk toast" (at least in terms of looks)! You guys are gonna hate me, but I still think the Mustang is the nicest looking 4 seat sporty car! To me, it's not just what's under the hood, it's the style!!!

way back in the 70's they tried doing crap like that. there is no reason to make a 4 door corvette. it was never meant to be anything but a 2 door coupe. sports cars do not have 4 doors. period.
it just looks like a pimpmobile.

It's been done. In one of the Corvette magizines, don't remember which one, Corvette fever or Vette, they had a article showing a C-3 that had been convert into a four door.
