Here is what I was told is a VIN for a 1967 Vette 194377S105313. Can someone decode this number for me? It is a long story about someone selling a '67 C2 for dirt cheap, most likely a scammer, but they did e-mail this VIN to me. Thanks!

Aaron

Aaron, the VIN breaks down in the Corvette Black Book to a 67 Coupe that was the 5,313th one produced.  Can't tell what engine, color, etc. it has as would need the engine suffix/block casting, option and color codes.  Maybe someone else has more info than I can provide.  Good luck.

PS.... well, guess I'm just not fast enough... seems Joel beat me to it.  Of course, he gave a lot more detail than I did (which I would expect as he is the man when it comes to C3's).  Thumbs Up

Thanks for the info. The guy selling the C2 turned to dust and his e-mail is no longer active, you think he's a scammer!?!  I guess he did not like me asking so many questions about the car. Beware of scammers. Aaron19762010-01-21 13:25:43
