At Vette Registry, we know that you like your privacy.
That is why any information we collect from you WILL NEVER be provided to anyone outside of Vette Registry.
We may use your email address to notify you of announcements and special offers from Vette Registry and our sponsors from time to time.
If you choose not to receive such notices from us, simply edit your profile.
Corvette Classifieds
The Corvette Classifieds feature allows members to post vehicles for sale. Please be aware of how your information is used within this feature:
- Publicly displayed information: When you post a listing, the details you provide — including photos, vehicle description, asking price, and any contact information you choose to include in your listing text — are visible to all visitors of Vette Registry, including non-members. Do not include sensitive personal information (such as your full address or financial details) in listing text or photos.
- Seller identity: Your Vette Registry username and/or first name with last initial (e.g. “John S.”) are displayed on your listings. Your full last name, email address, and other private profile details are not shown publicly.
- Buyer/seller messaging: When a visitor contacts you through the on-site messaging system, the messages exchanged are stored securely in our database and are only accessible to the parties involved in that conversation and Vette Registry administrators. We do not share message content with third parties.
- Guest inquiries: Visitors who contact a seller without logging in provide an email address for reply purposes. That address is used solely to facilitate the conversation and is not added to any mailing list.
- Listing data retention: Listing information, including associated messages, may be retained after a listing is closed or removed for record-keeping and abuse-prevention purposes.
Vette Registry is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. We strongly encourage you to use good judgment about what personal information you share in listings or messages. See our Site Agreement for full terms governing the Classifieds.
