Vette(s): 2002 electron blue/ torch red 6 speed coupe
It appears then that the 2004 production year will end early so that those 2005 coupes will be available in March, 2004.

Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79
I know they are closing the plant to tours starting this fall, so I guess that makes sense.

Hib Halverson just stated that he spoke to an engineer who stated that the BG exteneded closure is to keep viewer from seeing the C6 parts / tooling around the factory. He says that the '04 will NOT be a shortened year and that C6s will not be available until mid to late summer '04 - a normal YE change over, per the engineer.

Very disappointing, if true.
