-I have heard that in order to start the C 6 with keyless access the car must be in park, foot brake applied AND The HAND BRAKE APPLIED. At least this the case with the automatic transmission. Does anyone know if this is true?

Here is what I know:
Automatic, the vette must be in park, with emergency brake set and the brake pedal must be depressed, to start.
Manual, the vette must have emergency brake set, and BOTH clutch pedal and the brake pedal must be depressed to start car.
