Was talking to a very informative Corvette saleman in Amhurst, Ohio last weekend and he told me that the next
Z06 will have a different front end as to tell that is a
Z06 from a distance. Anyone else heard anything like this. Also 500 H.P. |biggrin|

At a tech section during the C5 Birthday Bash we were told the coves would be "unique" to the Z06.

It should have a more distinctive look than the base Vette. It's a horse of a different color!

I too have heard of different looks for the Z06 replacemant; however, there has been speculation on lighter weight too. I hear that they are stuck at 480 HP in their quest for 500. Still to be determined is it it 6.4 liters, 7 liters, or even three valve heads.

I , personally, am hung up on the lack of info for a 6 speed automatic. We have a dreadful lack of spy data on many pieces of the puzzle. My salesman tells me that there is so much interest in the C6 that he will not be able to get one from the dealer's allocation.

<<My salesman tells me that there is so much interest in the C6 that he will not be able to get one from the dealer's allocation.>>

---If you mean the salesman won't be able to buy a C6 from his own dealership ... that makes sense! Dealership employees are typically last on the list to be able to buy a newly released vehicle. When you add the potential low allocation (based upon previous year dealer sales), the salesman's chance gets even lower.
