has anyone taken off the front bumper on an 84 or85 my manual doesn't say how.why i have to take it off, i let my girl friend drive it . she pulled it into the garage and hit the front wall. it tore up the bumper gruard. and also nicked the paint. i didn't get mad i just gave her a big hug and kiss. and said i'll fix it.i guess i'll have to hang something so she can judge when to stop. any pic's or information would be helpfull. looks like a big job. thanks

I took mine off a year ago. Athe time there was some pictures on one of the forums.I thnk it was in the body section. I dont know how to go back a whole year, but the gist of it was you had to remove all the bolts between the bumper and the hood. then you has to remove the bolts from the bottom. then you had to remove the boltsfrom both sides under the hood. remove the bolts from where it bolts to the fender well. it will come off. it takes some time, but you can do it. I had to remove my fog lights to replace them. good luck

open the hood and you will see bolts along the edge. all have to come out. on the bottom there are bolts that hold it to the wheel well and in the middle underneath it may have a couple of rivets where it bends up to the radiator. have to take out the screws that are on the outside of wheel well too. not very hard just have some patience
