All Corvette Car Show. June 2-3, 2006 Friday Night Welcome Party, 6:30-9:30, BBQ w/sides; cash bar; vendors; Burnout Contest(winner gets $300)at SBB 4 Corners, Murrells Inlet. Saturday Car Show at Broadway at the Beach, Myrtle Beach, SC. 10:00am-2:00pm, Registration 9:00am-12:00pm, walk-in $20, Door Prizes awarded during Car Show, and DJ at show. Road Cruise around the Beach at 2:00pm. Awards Banquet Saturday Night at Wish Bones, Wild Wings Plantation, Hwy 501 between Myrtle Beach and Conway, 6:30pm-10:00pm. Three- entree buffet dinner, silent auction and trophie presentation. Event Regigistration is $100 per couple and $65 for single. $10 for additional car. Skyline Drive Corvettes, Reading, PA is hosting a Corvette show to benefit the Humane Society of Berks County. Participant judging and trophies in these classes: 1953-1962; 1963-1967; 1968-1973; 1974-1982; 1984-1990; 1991-1996; 1997-2004; 2005-2006. "Best of Show" trophy. Dash plaques. Food available. Raffle prizes. Pre-registration $13. Day of show registration $15.

Join in on the monthly members chat night. Topics range across the board with occasional special guests. Begins around 9:30 PM (Eastern Time) and goes until "The Sandman" clears the room. Drop in and join the fun...!!!

Great Vette show! 6 classes with 3 trophies per class, includes best of show. It is a complete package or just the show depending on what you want.

Package includes: hotel room for 2 people for 2 nights, show ticket for 2 for the "Legends" show, a midnite cruise and a Vettes only show on Saturday 06/10/06 beginning at 9:00 AM, an award banquet dinner for 2 and trophies for class winners.

...Celebrating The Enjoyment of America's Sports Car...
Friday, June 30th, is the date of the 6th Annual Drive Your Corvette To Work Day, sponsored by Mid America Motorworks. In honor of "Drive Your Corvette To Work Day", enthusiasts across the United States make "America's Sports Car" their commuter car for the day. Every year, the Friday closest to June 30, Corvette's official birthday, is chosen to observe "Drive Your Corvette To Work Day". This is the first year the event actually fell on the same day.

Mid America Motorworks promotes "Drive Your Corvette To Work Day" among Corvette owners and clubs. The goal is to have as many Corvette owners as possible drive their car to work that day. Launched in 2001, Mid America Motorworks' "Drive Your Corvette To Work Day" is an annual event celebrated by thousands of Corvette owners.

"We understand why many owners consider their Corvette to be a special car and only drive it occasionally," said Mike Yager, founder and "Chief Cheerleader" of Mid America Motorworks, the world's leading supplier of Corvette parts and accessories. "But we think driving your Corvette to work, at least one day a year, is an excellent way to demonstrate just how popular Corvettes are. And it is a chance for Corvette owners to meet new Corvette owners."

Corvette owners who observe "Drive Your Corvette To Work Day" are encouraged to send high resolution digital pictures of their car at work to: clubs@mamotorworks.com Mid America Motorworks will post as many pictures as possible on their web-site.
